Understanding What’s Needed

Date + Time: Saturday, April 23, 2016 / 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The Workshop: In this *free* half-day session, participants will learn how to write successful applications for British Columbia's Community Gaming Grants program and its 2016 Arts and Culture intake. The deadline for grant applications to this program is May 31 - be prepared!

The workshop will provide an understanding of the particular requirements of the Community Gaming Grants program, along with valuable grant writing basics applicable to all funding programs. Participants are encouraged to bring their gaming grant applications in progress, or previously completed submissions, and will be given opportunities for one-on-one feedback following the workshop.

The Facilitator: Rob Gloor brings over 20 years of experience in non-profit arts management to his role as Executive Director of the Alliance for Arts + Culture. He holds university degrees in both music and business and has worked with organizations of all sizes in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia. Rob is Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the BC Association for Charitable Gaming (BCACG).

This Kelowna workshop is free to attend, but RSVPs are required.
